SIDE EVENTS AND EXHIBITION

The Host Country Secretariat developed the overview of side events during the Belgrade Ministerial Conference in accordance with the approved procedures as contained in the WGSO document on Organizational Issues for the Belgrade Conference (part III, para 21-26, ECE/CEP/AC.11/2006/5. The overview, compiled on the basis of application forms and information received by the Host Country Secretariat, serves as guidance for potential participants in selecting those events they would like to attend.

Some 5 minutes should be allocated before the actual start of a side event, as well as another 5 minutes following the end of the event to allow the participants to transfer to and from the side event venue. Please note that the featured calendar (revision as of 28th September) is now a final outlook of scheduled side events during the Belgrade Conference.

Please also note that in accordance with the decision by the fifth meeting of the WGSO (Geneva, 29 August 2007), the Conference will resume its work at 9.30 a.m. on 12 October 2007, thus scheduled side-events for that morning should end by 9.30 a.m. The changes for respective events taking place in the morning of Friday 12 October have been made accordingly.
